Lovely to see the spring sun but I have to keep out of it as I can't deal with the UV even with factor 50 sun cream (which I can't deal with either - I always manage to rub it in my eyes!)It's great to see the seasons change - I started chemo in mid winter and I'll be finished and ready for my stoma reversal by mid summer.
I doubt it feels like it to you, but it seems to be speeding by to me. I always think that once one is over halfway in whatever it is, the time goes twice as fast. So if I am out running (though my knee is f***ed at the moment) when I reach halfway I always feel like each stride is then eating up twice as much ground as it was before somehow. I'm not quite sure I can explain, but do you get me?
ReplyDeleteDefinitely - glass half full philosophy is good. And then halving halves. It is going quickly, I can't believe how fast my 3 weekly blood test comes round. The Ashes, Cricket World cup and football on telly or Live Streaming have helped - I do worry a bit about the dearth of sport from May ! Exciting 6 pointer for us on Saturday - NCFC coach is only £5 return to Swansea & I was tempted but I worry about bag emptying 'in transit'. New loanee Dani Pacheco doing great things in combo with Lansbury.
ReplyDeleteYes, looks like you could be gracing the Emirates next season. You'll have to come and stay. I am sooooooooo over football for this season. It is painful watching the Arsenal at the moment. I went to the Carling Cup final and Old Trafford for FA cup - thank the lord we chose not to go to Barca. Unlike the time aspect halving it seems money and pain have some kind of doubling correlation :(
